Bays celebrate 50th anniversary

Ruby and Donald Bays Jr. of Zionsville will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a reception at the American Legion on Sept. 23, 2006 hosted by their three children, Ron Bays of Saginaw, Mich.; Donna Bays of Indianapolis and Tom Bays of Zionsville.

The couple were married Sept. 23, 1956 in Cumberland, Ky. at the United Methodist Church with Reverend Piper officiating. The bridesmaids were sisters of the bride Malissie Murphy, Kathy Wetherald and Geraldina Lind. The best man was Richard Hays. The groomsmen were Larry Murphy and Jerry Wetherald.
