Ford’s celebrate 60th wedding anniversary

Richard and Pat Ford of Zionsville, will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary on Wednesday, Dec. 15.

They were married Dec. 15, 1950, at Methodist Church on Main Street, now The Sanctuary.

The couple has two children: Sherry Hill and the late Larry Ford; and three granddaughters and six great-grandchildren.

The couple will celebrate with a family dinner at Lutz Steakhouse in Noblesville.

    Mr. and Mrs. Alan Voorhis observed their 60th wedding anniversary Friday, June 22.

    They were married in the United Brethren Church in Warsaw by Rev. Otice I. Uncapher. Their witnesses were Mr. and Mrs. William C. Ellis, of Noblesville.

    The couple was married on June 22, 1952, in West Burlington, Iowa.

    Mrs. James Brother, the Reverand C.W. Richardson, officiated.

    They are the parents of Steven, Rebecca and Robert and have seven grandchildren.
