Traders Point Christian Academy recently hosted 460 parents, students and supporters at their annual Parent Teacher Fellowship All School Pizza Party and Teacher and Me Auction event. Through silent and live auction, families could bid on special outings for their students to enjoy with their favorite TPCA teachers and staff members. Fishing trips, pizza and movies, Build-A-Bear, cooking class and many other options were auctioned, raising $30,000 for the academy. Attendees enjoyed pizza, several large inflatable bounce houses and an obstacle course in the gymnasium. Superintendent Kerry Walker raised $1,000 for TPCA by auctioning a chance for donors to duct tape him to the wall for two hours. Funds raised will be used to fund athletic and technology needs for students and classrooms. Pictured is Walker, who is duct taped to the wall by eighth grade students.
