Laura Ashley and Julien Mamet of San Francisco, Calif., were married July 29, 2006, in Islamorada, Fla., on the waterfront. The Rev. Bonnie Frost officiated.

The maid of honor was Amy Ashley, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Tana Loy, Nicole Lampsa and Audrey Mamet. Flower girl was Krista Snyder.

The best man was Yannick Corboz. Groomsmen were Nicolas Francois, Franklin Lamouille and Sebastien Longchambon.

The reception was held on the beach in the Florida Keys.

The bride is the daughter of Mike and Lana Ashley of Zionsville. She was a 1996 graduate of Zionsville Community High School and a 2000 graduate of Miami of Ohio. She also earned an MBA at UCLA in 2006. Laura is an assistant marketing brand manager for Leap Frog.

The groom is the son of Christian and Claudine Mamet of France. He is a graduate of Annecy High School in Annecy, France and a 1998 graduate of the University of Lyon. He received a doctorate in molecular and cellular biology in 2003 from the University of Nice, France. He is a research scientist.

The couple took a wedding trip to Sarasota, Fla., and will reside in San Francisco, Calif.
