---- — Investigators believe the driver of a 1993 Honda Civic in which two Boone County teenagers died Sunday, March 16, was speeding when it hit a tree head-on. Driver Jacob Shockley, 18, Advance, and Richard Penny Jr., 18, Lebanon, died of multiple blunt force trauma, Boone County Sheriff’s Office Cpl. Chris Burcham said in a press release. The car was going approximately 65 mph in a 40-mph zone when it crashed, he said. See Wednesday's Times Sentinel for the full story.
