Lebanon police officers assisted in the raid of two homes Thursday, April 24, in connection with an investigation being conducted by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
Police logs show the raids occurred at about 7 a.m. at two Lebanon homes -- one at 524 N. Meridian St., owned by Matt Hendrix, and the other at 416 E. Fordice St., where Jennifer Armstrong resides. Those warrants were served minutes apart, according to police records.
Hendrix is the former executive director of the Greater Indianapolis Progress Committee. The committee's chairman, Murray Clark, said Friday afternoon, April 25, that after Hendricks' departure from the organization earlier this month they came across information that was "difficult to explain," which led to the investigation.
