Meyer files for re-election as prosecutor

Boone County Prosecuting Attorney Todd J. Meyer is seeking a fourth consecutive term.

Meyer, who was appointed to the office in October 2002 after the death of Prosecutor John Buchanan, has been elected in 2002, 2006 and 2010.

He filed his candidacy with the Indiana Secretary of State on Jan. 9.

"I believe I have a lot more to offer the people of Boone County," Meyer said in a press release. "I have several public safety projects in the works and on my list of things to do that I still want to accomplish for this community."
