Gerry and Virginia Speer of Mount Pleasant, Penn., announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelly Kristine Speer of Mt. Pleasant, to Andrew Duane Hand of Zionsville. He is the son of Jerry and Kathy Hand of Zionsville. The bride-elect graduated in 2000 from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in English, and is a graphics designer in Columbus, Ohio. The groom-elect is a 1994 graduate of Zionsville Community High School and graduated in 1998 from Wittenburg University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. In 2003, he graduated from the Ohio State University with a master’s in education. He is a teacher and director of the Recovery Alternative School in Edison, Ohio. | |
