Martindale and Burch to marry

Doug and Julie Martindale of South Bend announce the engagement of their daughter, Racheal Marie Martindale of South Bend to Pierce David Burch of Tallahassee, Fla. He is the son of Paul and Diane Burch of Zionsville.

The bride-elect will graduate in May from Purdue University with degrees in chemistry education and chemistry. She plans to teach high school chemistry. The bridegroom-elect is a 2007 graduate of Purdue University with majors in accounting and management. He is attending the Florida State University College of Law and plans on a May 2010 graduation.

The couple plan a June 14 wedding at The Episcopal Cathedral of St. James in South Bend.
