Chinese students recognized

— Several Zionsville Community High School Chinese students have been recognized for their achievements. Nicholas Ceryak won first place and the gold trophy at the Indiana Chinese Language and Culture Fair on Saturday, April 20. Jackson Sugar and Michael Collins have been accepted to study Chinese in China for six weeks this summer through the National Security Language INitiative for Youth. The program, which is funded by the U.S. Department of State, provides merit-based scholarships to high school students to learn less commonly taught languages.
