Nearly 300 people attended the fashion show and luncheon held at Boone Meadow Elementary School.
“The most important part of the luncheon is that every dollar raised will go directly into classrooms of Zionsville schools in the form of grants next fall,” said Tracy Phillips, executive director of ZEF. “It is such a quick turnover and will have an impact on kids within a few months.” Joyce Horton, a mother of two Zionsville Community Schools students, said she has attended the event a few times. “ZEF is an amazing organization that gives back a lot,” she said. “This event is a fun time for moms to get out.”
Phillips did not have a final tally on how much money was raised as of press time.
