A ‘Friendly’ St. Patrick’s Day

The Friendly Tavern in downtown Zionsville held its annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration Tuesday, March 17. Patrons listened to a bagpipe performance by Indiana Caledonia Pipe Band (03-18-09 friendly bagpipes.jpg), live music with Second Fiddle, and enjoyed green beer, Guinness and Irish fare.

“I think it’s going pretty good,” Scott Barnes, owner of the business said as the party started to ramp up. “It’s a great night — we couldn’t have had better weather.”
