The Lebanon Public Library commemorated the end of the top floor construction project with a ribbon cutting and Grand Opening Ceremony. This newest addition to the library houses the Avon Audio/Visual Department, named after the fondly remembered Avon Theater, the V. Jay Martin Computer Lab (donated by the V. Jay Martin estate), the Bud Falke Business Conference Room (donated by the Bud Falke estate), several paintings, (donated by James and Margaret Richman), and a large meeting room. Lebanon Mayor Huck Lewis and Kandi Killin were the guest speakers at the ceremony. Music by Opus 96 and tours of the library closed out the evening. The Boone County Chamber of Commerce celebrated one of Lebanon's best kept secrets, K&R's Hogwild, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, June 4. Owners Kye Peetz and Richard Arens are working on new items, including chicken and shrimp, to appear on the menu. K&R's is now Wi-Fi accessible. Kye and Richard would like to thank the local community for supporting their new restaurant. They both said “Come in, log on, and pig out!” Visit K&R's Hogwild at 1404 W. South St., Lebanon.
