The Zionsville boys and girls track and field teams participated in the Wabash College Friday Night Series on Feb. 21.

Results for the team (top-10 finishers): Oliver Rigg won the 800-meter run in a time of 2:03.75. Also in the event, Brian Rice placed sixth in a time of 2:08.92.

Ryan Cash placed third in the 3,200-meter run in a time of 9:58.91. Also placing third was Beau LaJoie in the pole vault. He jumped 3.65 meters. Kyle Sheehan placed eighth in the event with a jump of 3.50 meters.

Joey Lupinski placed fifth in two events, the 400-meter dash (53.28 seconds) and the 55-meter hurdles (8.32 seconds).

In the shot put, Pierce Weingartner (7th, 11.32 meters), Austin Gilmore (8th, 10.31 meters), Noah Gioscio (9th, 9.95 meters) and Teddy Lupinski (10th, 9.85 meters) all placed in the top-10.

For the girls, Becca Uebele had the top finish, placing second in the 1,600-meter run in a time of 5:29.96.

Also in the event, Lindsey Herhusky placed fourth in a time of 5:53.19 and Jacki Ulmer placed 10th, 6:04.68.

In the shot put, Carlie Vannatta placed third with a throw of 10.36 meters. Kim Zinn placed sixth with a throw of 8.78 meters and Jordan Grammas placed eighth with a throw of 8.15 meters.

Emily Wilson placed third in the high jump with a jump of 1.47 meters. Paige Harder placed fifth in the event, jumping the same height.

Shanna Alexander placed eighth in the pole vault, jumping 1.98 meters. Eva Stachler was ninth in the event, jumping the same height.
