Wal-Mart requests continuance to December

Proposed plans for a new Wal-Mart store have been put on hold.

Wayne DeLong, director of planning and economic development, said in an email that Wal-Mart has requested a continuance.

The plans were originally on the agenda for the Monday, Oct. 15, meeting of the Plan Commission. The plans will now be discussed during the Monday, Dec. 17, meeting.

The commission has canceled its Oct. 15 meeting due to a lack of agenda.
