Stacked Pickle opens location near Zionsville

— Stacked Pickle will bring its wings, burgers and beer to a new location.

Owner Chris Long said he will open his restaurant Wednesday, Jan. 16, at the corner of 106th Street and Michigan Road in the former 106th Street Grill. The restaurant already has locations in Carmel, Fishers and downtown Indianapolis.

“I had been looking into opening a location in that area for a while,” he said. “I really like that whole area, and I feel there’s not that many spots that are local places. There’s Applebee’s and Red Robin, but not a lot of local places. I just really like that whole area because there’s a lot of growth over there.”

Long said the original location in Carmel has been around for three years and has quite a following.

“We are kind of that local neighborhood restaurant-type bar in the community where everybody knows your name,” he said.

Long said he anticipates have the same success at the new location.

“We think that one thing about us is that we really try to be that local hangout restaurant and bar,” he said. “We want to provide great food at a reasonable price, and we are non-smoking so we are family-friendly. Those are the things that we really go after – family, sports and good food at a reasonable price.”

Long said the restaurant will feature 16 televisions including two 100 inch projector televisions and 14 beers on draft.

“Come in and introduce yourself to us, and we’ll get you something to eat,” he said. “We want to have a good relationship with the community and businesses within the community.”

Julie Johns Cole, executive director of the Greater Zionsville Chamber of Commerce, said it is nice to see an increase in activity around Zionsville.

“We have had an increase in calls and inquiries about available property and space in and around Zionsville,” she said. “We are happy to welcome another business to the Zionsville area.”
