School board elects officers

The Zionsville Community Schools Board of Trustees elected officers for the upcoming year during their monthly meeting Monday, Jan. 14.

Jim Longest will be the board president and spokesman. Jane Burgess will be vice president and Shari Alexander Richey will be secretary.

The board member salary will remain $2,000 per year and meeting dates will continue on the second Monday of the month with an optional second meeting on the fourth Monday of the month.

The next school board meeting is 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, in the Educational Services Center, 900 Mulberry St.
