Farm raises turkeys ‘Little by Little’

Zionsville — For those looking for a break from the norm on Thanksgiving, there’s a new option in town.

Little by Little Farms in Zionsville has been growing and selling their own pasture fed, free-range turkeys since 2009.

“I think there was a need for (selling pasture fed, free-range turkeys) in the area,” Co-owner Stephanie Pinder said. “We had a couple of people ask us if we ever had turkeys. We started out getting them just for our families, and each year we get more and more requests for it.”

Stephanie said when they first began selling turkeys, they only had a dozen or so, but now raise more than 50 birds.

“The name of our farm is Little by Little, and that’s sort of our motto,” she said. “We just kept increasing little by little with the demand from family, friends and neighbors.”
