---- — While the Zionsville Town Council discusses a possible roundabout at the intersection of Ford Road and Bloor Lane, some residents may not see the benefit.
Several Village Walk residents spoke during the council meeting Monday night, Dec. 2, against the possible intersection construction.
Michael Kinder, who owns one of the properties that would be affected by the construction, raised several concerns he had with a roundabout.
"I think there is a public safety issue by cutting off an entrance to Village Walk for our police and fire departments," he said. "With the elimination of an entrance, I think there will be increased traffic on an already deteriorating Village Walk Drive. There is a plan in place to repair that road, but that plan stretches out about seven to 10 years."
