---- — The Witham Health Services project for the northeast corner of Michigan Road and 116th Street will need some help from the plan commission.
During its Monday night, Aug. 5, meeting, the town council voted to table the project, which required a rezone, indefinitely. Kent Frandsen, of Parr Richey Obremsky Frandsen & Patterson who represents Witham, said he will appear before the plan commission later this month to request a waiver from the typical one-year waiting period before filing plans again.
"The rule says you can't come back on a substantially similar project," he said. "We are coming up with a new application we hope to file. It's the same type of project, but we will have more detail, a different layout, more commitments. We are working on that now."
