Santa to get ZFD escort

The Zionsville Fire Department will escort Santa through the neighborhoods of Zionsville as part of their annual training.

For the 12 days leading up to Christmas, Santa will be accompanied by firefighters and a fire engine as he tours the neighborhoods.

The department will visit a different neighborhood each night playing Christmas carols and escorting Santa.

The routes begin at 6:30 p.m. each night and are subject up to a one hour delay due to firefighters responding to 911 runs.
