“Lots of merchants are doing activities on Ladies and Men’s nights,” said Johns-Cole.
On Dec. 21, participating shops, galleries and restaurants will raise money for their favorite charities with special promotions and activities for “Zionsville Pays it Forward.”
“The coolest thing this year is that the merchants have stepped up to sponsor everything,” Johns-Cole said, adding that at least a dozen individuals and 43 businesses have been involved.
In addition, a $10,000 grant from the town and a $1,000 grant from the Boone County Convention and Visitors Bureau will aid in promoting Zionsville as the Christmas shopping place to be.
“A cable spot has clips from everybody,” said Johns-Cole, emphasizing that not just the Village businesses are promoted. “It’s representative of what you can find in Zionsville as far as shopping and dining.”
For a complete calendar of events, visit www.zionsvillechamber.org. Johns-Cole said the website will be updated regularly as new activities are added.
