Zionsville named a Google eCity

Zionsville is known throughout central Indiana as a charming, small community, but now the town can be known for something more progressive. Zionsville has been awarded the 2013 Google eCity Award for the state of Indiana, which recognizes the strongest online business communities in each state. Zionsville was described on the Google eCity Awards page as "a delightful destination in Indiana" and noted the "scenic downtown." According to the Google eCity Awards website, the award recognizes the "digital capitals of each state." The website states "these cities’ businesses are using the web to find new customers, connect with existing customers and fuel their local economies." See Wednesday's Times Sentinel for the full story.
