Whitestown council considers town hall options

The cramped quarters of the Whitestown Town Hall may be gone within the next two years. The Whitestown Town Council discussed Tuesday night, Nov. 12, a few options on either purchasing or building a new town hall. "(This meeting) room has an occupancy of 25 people," said Town Manager Dax Norton. "That is not good enough for the citizens of our town." The council discussed purchasing Cornerstone Community Church, 6210 S CR 700 E, or building a new town hall on 7 acres the town owns near Walker Farms. Councilman Kevin Russell proposed an idea for a combination of the two options. See Wednesday's Times Sentinel for the full story.
