A late change to the proposed Wal-Mart store prompted the retailer to ask for a continuance from the Board of Zoning Appeals.
The BZA unanimously approved the continuance Tuesday night, Jan. 8. The retailer will go before the board on Tuesday, Feb. 12, to seek a variance from the big box ordinance, which limits the size of integrated centers to 125.000 square feet.
Joe Calderon, an attorney with Bose, McKinney and Evans, who represents Wal-Mart, asked for the continuance.
