Zionsville — Zionsville Community High School senior J.D. Hall was crowned Mr. Zionsville Wednesday, Jan. 23, at the Performing Arts Center. The money raised from the competition, a long-standing ZCHS tradition, goes to the prom. The theme of this year’s event was “Stayin’ Alive.” The contestants were judged in talent, question/answer and dance categories. Hall sang and played guitar for his talent. Other contestants were Shane Lewis, Will Penczek, Harrison Farber, Carter Speer, Luke Crenshaw, Hussain Ather, Josh Woodard, Jackson Schafer, Jacob Taylor, Carson Kennedy and Bill Nicholas. Schafer who sang “Fever” won Mr. Talent and Woodard, who danced in a lighted suit, was voted Mr. Spirit by the other 11 contestants.
