If all goes well, a plan to revitalize downtown Whitestown will be considered during the town council’s December meeting.
Deb Luzier, town planner for the Town of Whitestown, told the town council during its meeting Tuesday night, Oct. 9, the status of the plan. The council received a $50,000 grant from the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs to prepare the plan.
“We plan to have a draft for the (Monday) Nov. 12 meeting of the plan commission,” she said. “It would go before the plan commission during its December meeting for a recommendation, and then the plan would go before the council for final approval in December.”
