— Zionsville residents wanting to test their appetites will have a new option in town — Bub’s Burgers.

On Thursday, Oct. 25, Bob Harris, of the Harris Property Group based out of Indianapolis, announced a new development on the west side of Zionsville Road between 106th Street and Eagle Creek that includes the restaurant from Travel Channel Man vs. Food fame.

“The development will have the restaurant plus up to 8,000 or 9,000 square feet of additional retail,” Harris said. “The development will have a real Village feel. We’ll be able to accommodate a store anywhere from a few hundred square feet to a few thousand.”

Harris said he was talking with Bub’s Owner Matt Frey for at least a year and a half.

“We wanted them because it’s a successful, well-established restaurant with an owner that works his tail off,” Harris said. “In our partnership with Bub’s, we are really looking to build what he needs.”

The restaurant will have a patio that will overlook Eagle Creek and will not be much larger than the Carmel location.
