The Zionsville Downtown Committee is bringing spring to town Saturday, May 4, with or without Mother Nature’s cooperation.
Flower and Herb Day will bring together more than 50 downtown businesses from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine, to celebrate the growing season with demonstrations and specials related to flowers and plants.
“It’s our very first really organized effort,” said Downtown Committee President Barbara Jennings. “It was masterminded by Sandy Rogers of the Butler’s Pantry. Most businesses are participating and will have promotions.”
Many business owners will be giving away seed packets. Some will give away cut flowers. Others will have specials on floral apparel or accessories, food and drinks, prints or books.
