‘Parks and Rec’ crew hit Boone County

Zionsville — NBC’s hit show Parks and Recreation had a lot of publicity for its downtown Indianapolis filming and just a day before, the crew was in Boone County.

Co-executive Producer Morgan Sackett said the show shot a few scenes in both Zionsville and Lebanon.

“We didn’t have a cast on Sunday because they were still traveling and wanted to go shoot some exterior (shots),” he said. “We are always trying to make the show look like Indiana as much as possible since we shoot in California.”
