Christmas arrives in the Village

— The month of Christmas in Zionsville began Friday, Nov. 23, with a few events before the “infamous” tree lighting on Main Street. Father Christmas (right) waves as he steps out of his horse-drawn wagon and leads a procession down Main Street to light the Village tree. The evening also featured book readings and music, including a performance from the trio of Evan Crafts, guitar; Mark Edlin, drums; and Alex Young, saxophone (below).

Live music and horse-drawn wagon rides through the village continued until 8:30 p.m.
