Keitra Annette Smith, 28, of Marion County, was killed instantly about 7:27 a.m. Monday, Dec. 10, when she lost control of her car and was struck broadside by a one-ton stake truck on northbound Interstate 65 just south of Indiana 267.
Whitestown Police Chief Dennis Anderson said his officers told him that witnesses saw Smith move from the far right lane into the middle lane of the interstate.
She then swerved back into the right lane, Anderson said, apparently in an attempt to enter a line of traffic exiting the interstate.
