A new event is popping up in Zionsville on Friday, Feb. 3.
Local chefs will “pop up” and serve their culinary creations in 18 different Zionsville art galleries, boutiques and restaurants between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m., said ZBowl volunteer Kate Swanson.
Swanson said every 30 minutes, participants can either receive a text or a schedule of three places where they can taste food from three surprise chefs.
Swanson said the idea was proposed to the ZBowl Committee by Karin Glass, owner of Serenity.
“It sounded like a lot of fun, so the committee decided to try it,” she said.
The committee aimed to have 18 different sites all over town, and Swanson said she was delighted by the support from local merchants.
“The business community was overwhelmingly positive about the event that we had to start turning people down once we hit 18 locations,” she said. “I think this event will be a great community event, as well as a great opportunity for Zionsville to showcase the amazing dining options our town has to offer.”
Participating locations and chefs include Ganache Chocolatier, Le Dolce Vita Patisserie, My Sugar Pie, The Sanctuary, Chef Ghyslain Maurais, Brunchies, Confectioneiress, Chef Jon Oliver, Greek’s Pizzeria, Inga’s Popcorn, Jacquie’s, Garnish Catering, Chef Jodi Gogis, Noah Grant’s Grill House and Raw Bar, Oobatz!, Cobblestone Grill, Patrick’s Kitchen and Drinks, Serenity, Stone Creek Dining Co., ART IN Hand Gallery, Ballerinas and Bruisers, Casalini Portraits, CCA Gallery, Corner Vise Gallery and Frame Shop, Thomas Kinkade Zionsville Gallery, Jewel Box Jewelers, Lesley Jane, Robert Goodman Jewelers, Salem Art Gallery, Susie Rachles, Black Swan Photo Gallery, Watts Art Gallery, Black Dog Books, Carolina Grill and Body Outfitters.
