On Friday, Dec. 23, Michelle Soudaphone of Anderson was arrested for theft and fraud on a debit card. The police report states Sengkeo Keopraseuth reported a complaint of theft and fraud on a debit card on Monday, Nov. 28. After an extensive investigation, a warrant was issued for the arrested of Soudaphone on Monday, Dec. 12. Zionsville Police detectives located Soudaphone living and Anderson, and forwarded the warrant to the Anderson Police Department who served the warrant. Soudaphone was arrested and transported to the Madison County Jail prior to transfer to Boone County.

At 1:44 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 24, a juvenile male was arrested for theft. The police report states the suspect was caught stealing mail from mailboxes at five different locations. The estimated loss is $500.

At 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, Larry Green of Pulte Homes of Indiana, 16582 Lakeville Crossing, Westfield, reported theft. The police report states at some time between 5 p.m.

Thursday, Dec. 22, and 9 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, a microwave was stolen from a new house under construction in the 9300 block of Windrift Way. The estimated loss is $300.

In accident news, at 1:10 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, James A. Bennington, 40, of Indianapolis was driving a white 2004 Chevrolet Express, and Anne B. Goldsmith, 39, of Zionsville was driving a black 2002 Subaru Outback. The police report states Bennington was driving east on State Road 334, approaching U.S. 421. Bennington was in the left lane, backed up to move into the right-turn lane and struck Goldsmith's vehicle. The estimated damage is between $1,001 and $2,500.

At 3:50 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 25, Joshua W. Adams, 27, of Valparaiso was driving a blue 2003 Saturn SL. The police report states Adams was driving south on County Road 975 East, slid off the road due to weather conditions and stopped in a brush area. The estimated damage is between $1,001 and $2,500.

At 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 25, Peter W. Glynn Jr., 21, of Zionsville was driving a black 2004 Honda Civic. The police report states Glynn was driving north on County Road 975 East, slid of the roadway and struck a fence. The estimated damage is between $2,501 and $5,000.

At 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, Pasha N. Ayon, 22, of Indianapolis was driving a blue 1994 Mitsubishi Galant, and Erin A. Dodd, 25, of Indianapolis was driving a black 2000 Ford Explorer. The police report states Dodd was driving north in the Hoosier Village Retirement Center parking lot, and Ayon was backing out of a parking spot. Ayon's vehicle struck the passenger side of Dodd's vehicle. The estimated damage is between $1,001 and $2,500.

At 7:40 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, James T. Hoyt, 50, of Indianapolis was driving a green 1995 Chevrolet Blazer. The police report states Hoyt was driving west on 116th Street, approaching U.S. 421. Hoyt attempted to turn left onto U.S. 421, but drove past the lanes and off the side of the road. The roadbed is under construction and is considerably lower than road. Hoyt's vehicle came to rest with the frame on the roadway, with the front end in the construction area and both rear wheels about three feet above the road. Hoyt said he was taking his vehicle to Indy Tire to have the brakes worked on because they did not work very well. The estimated damage is between $1,001 and $2,500.
