Heritage RDG, LLC and Wal-Mart sought a continuance for petitions regarding development plans at the Tuesday, Jan. 17 Zionsville Plan Commission meeting.

No official reason was given for the request. ZPC members voted to continue the petitions to the March plan commission meeting.

Members also tabled discussions about amending Zionsville's zoning ordinances regarding maximum gross floor area for single uses and integrated centers for general business districts, outdoor business districts and the U.S. 421-Michigan Road Corridor Overlay Zone. Those discussions will continue in a smaller committee setting which will report its conclusions to the commission in April.

Heritage RDG had petitions on the agenda for development plan approval for a 300,000 square foot center; primary plat approval for the division of 31.85 acres into five commercial lots; for waiver of design and construction standards for accel/decel lanes and passing blisters; and for waiver of subdivision control ordinance rules governing street intersections.
