1939-2008
Jerolyn “Jerry” Ervin Albers, 68, a 39-year resident of Zionsville, died Saturday, March 22, 2008. Jerolyn was born Oct. 10, 1939, in Noblesville to the late Roger G. and Juanita Kinder Ervin.
After graduating from Westfield High School in 1958, Jerolyn went to airline school in Kansas City and later served as a stewardess for Lake Central Airline. In 1961, she married Hermann Albers. Together, they established Albers Rolls-Royce/Bentley in Zionsville; a business they operated from 1969 until 2002 when their sons assumed ownership. Hermann preceded Jerolyn in death in 2002.
Mrs. Albers is survived by her sons, R. Gregory Albers and his wife, Susan, of Zionsville and Mark C. Albers and his wife, Elena, of Zionsville, her grandchildren, Jane and Hanson Albers, and her cousins, Judy Dean and Fred Witzleben.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 pm, Thursday, March 27, at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center, 105 W. Pine St. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, March 28, at St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church, 1870 W. Oak St. Burial will follow at Summit Lawn Cemetery in Westfield.
