W. Jean Abbott Smith
1938-2008
W. Jean Abbott Smith, 69, of Zionsville, died the evening of April 18, 2008, at St. Vincent Hospice. Jean was born Aug. 9, 1938, in Trevlac to the late Marvin and Elsie Logsdon Abbott.
Mrs. Smith was the co-owner/operator of Frink Home Cleaning for 27 years along with her husband, Sonny. She enjoyed ballroom dancing and was a member of Continental Dance Club. Jean had a passion for playing bridge; she was a great listener and never knew a stranger. Her natural talents shined with her abilities to do landscape design and interior decorating. Jean will be fondly remembered and forever missed.
Jean is survived by her husband of 52 years, Kenneth “Sonny” Smith; her children, Angela R. Smith, Patrick K. Smith, Dawn M. Gooding and Michael D. Smith; her granddaughters, Brooke Asltschul and Gwen Smith; and her brother, Donald Abbott.
