David Meredith Fitch 63, of Zionsville, died on Jan. 7, 2013, at his lake property in Putnam County.
He was born July 15, 1949, in Indianapolis, to Frank and Rosemary Fitch. He was united in marriage with Tina Bowles on June 24, 1972.
David graduated from Broad Ripple High School, and attended Indiana State University and Indiana University, graduating from IU with a degree in Urban Planning. He was a member of Kappa Delta Rho fraternity. He established his own appraisal firm, Quality Appraisals in the late 1970s. His hobbies included renovating houses and spending time at their lake property.
Survivors include his wife Tina Fitch of Zionsville; son Ryan of New York City; Adam of Whitestown; mother Rosemary Fitch; sister Susannah (Max) Johnson of Lafayette; nephews Bret Johnson of Atlanta; and Bart Johnson of Jacksonville Beach, Fla.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, at the Zionsville United Methodist Church, 9644 Whitestown Road, Zionsville, with Pastor Glen Howell officiating. A visitation will an hour before the service.
