Grace Pollard Lohman passed away April 1, 2013.
She was born Dec. 27, 1914, to Ermond and Nellie (Wyatt) Pollard. She was the wife of C.L. “Chubby” Lohman; he and grandson James King preceded her in death.
Grace was a homemaker and worked at Dow Chemical as a lab technician. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Grace spent most of her life in Zionsville, but in later years lived in Florida, the Carolinas, and recently in Savannah, Ga. She made friends easily wherever she lived.
Grace leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Donna King, of Savannah; grandsons, Kevin King of Savannah and Curtis King of Florida; six great-grandchildren; brother, Delmar Pollard (and fiancé Peggy Hubbard) of Panama City, Fla.; sister, Florence Smith (husband Jon) of Indianapolis; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 6, at Little Eagle Cemetery.
Arrangements were entrusted to Flanner and Buchanan Zionsville.
