---- — Mr. Robin L. Buckmaster 61, of Zionsville passed away March 27, 2014.
Robin is preceded in death by his father Lloyd S. Buckmaster, son Andy Buckmaster, brothers Charles L. Buckmaster and Jeffrey D. Knox.
Robin is a lifelong resident of Zionsville in which he has been a great supporter of all community business’s and families. As a member of the American Legion Post No. 79 he enjoyed supporting the honoring of veterans from all branches of the military.
His passion for cars began at the age of 13 working with his father which led him to begin Robin’s Body Shop in the late 80s. In addition to his passion for automobiles Robin enjoyed the outdoors especially fishing. Robin’s funny sense of humor will be greatly missed by all of his friends and family but especially his daughter, Jessie, whom he enjoyed watching play basketball through the years.
He is survived by his parents Elaine and Claude Bunch, daughter Jessie L. Buckmaster, very special friend Lynn Easton, brothers Dord L. Buckmaster, Robert E. Knox, Lynn Knox, John R. Knox, sisters Elaine L. Buckmaster-Cone, and Karen L. Buckmaster-Marsh, step-son Troy Minton, two grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was Sunday, March 30, at Flanner and Buchanan – Zionsville. Services followed Monday, March 31, at Salem United Methodist Church.
