---- — Guy Alvin Fisher, 53, of Lebanon, died Saturday, July 13, 2013, at his residence in Lebanon.
He was born Nov. 11, 1959, in Indianapolis, to John A. and Bonnie B. (Means) Fisher. Reared and educated in Boone County, he attended Zionsville High School. He was married to Jeanette L. Poskey, and they divorced. Guy worked in Indianapolis at Lamfab as a heavy equipment operator for several years and most recently was working as a carpenter in the Lebanon area.
He was devoted to his family and friends. Guy was an avid reader, and he also enjoyed boating and cutting the grass.
Survivors include a son, Josh G. Fisher of Lebanon; a brother, John Fisher and wife, Trudy, of Lebanon; two sisters, Ginger Sanders and husband, David, of Zionsville, and Tina Vinard and husband, Jay, of Sheridan; sister-in-law, Debby Fisher of New Palestine; grandchild, Braelyn S. Lawrence of Lebanon; and several nieces and nephews.
Guy was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Terry W. Fisher.
Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon S., Lebanon, is entrusted with arrangements for his cremation. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
