James F. Walls, 79, of Zionsville, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2013.
He was born Feb. 9, 1934, in Terre Haute, to Charles A. Walls and Pearl (Harris) Walls.
Jim graduated from Greensburg High School in 1952. He served in the Indiana National Guard for eight years and worked as an insurance adjuster for 37 years. He was a member of Young’s Chapel Christian Church in Crawfordsville. He was also a member of Darlington Masonic Lodge and member and past board member of TPA.
Jim enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and hunting. He was constantly on the move and was a stranger to no one.
He is survived by his wife, Charlene (Scripture) Walls, whom he married in 1957; three children, John J. (Rhonda) Walls of Zionsville, Todd D. (Corinne) Walls of Gurnee, Ill., and Lori J. (Tim) Randle of Zionsville; and six grandchildren, Jenna Walls, Katie Walls, Nick Randle, Grant Randle, Alec Walls and Cullen Walls.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Thomas Harris Walls.
Services were Saturday, April 20, at Union Chapel United Methodist Church, with Alan Hughes officiating. A celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date in Zionsville.
