Sarah Elizabeth Lamb

On July 8, 2013, Sarah Elizabeth White Lamb, 90, went to sleep at The Terrace at Mountain Creek in Chattanooga,Tenn., and woke up in Heaven, her forever home, where she was reunited with her husband, James Lamb, and sons Douglas Gilbert Lamb and David James Lamb.

The daughter of Samuel Elmer White and Lillie Beattie Sheldon White, Sarah was born April 14, 1923, in a mountain cabin perched above the Delaware Water Gap near Dunnfield, N.J., now a national park. Together Sarah and Jim raised six children: Douglas Gilbert Lamb, Eileen Elizabeth Lamb, Sally Ann Lamb Weber (Kraig), Janet Louise Lamb Nowak (Glenn), Joyce Dale Lamb Cowan (Terry), and David James Lamb (Debbie Bunnell). She is survived by her children; nine grandchildren: Hans, Heidi, Angeline, Meghan, James, Lauren, Robert, Julianna, and Ian; and 11 great-grandchildren. Sarah will be remembered as a loving wife and mother and a humble servant of the Lord Jesus Christ.
