Diane Mary Nehf, 79, of Longmont, Colo., formerly of Zionsville, died June 20, 2013. Diane was born on Jan. 8, 1934, in Melrose Park, Ill. to Peter and Vera (Zack) DeAngelis.
Diane was married to her loving husband, Joseph Nehf, for more than 50 years. She lived in Zionsville for many years before moving to Longmont, Colo., in 2009 to be closer to her daughter.
Diane was a member of St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church in Zionsville. She was an avid sports fan, loved gardening, traveling, and most of all, spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Diane is survived by her daughter, Cathy (Mark) Lund; sons Michael (Kathy) Nehf, James (Laura) Nehf, and David (Elizabeth) Nehf; sister Rosemary Vana; sister-in-law Susan Nehf; and grandchildren Jason, Brian, Sean, Nicolas, Sarah, Brianna, Lorraine, David and Julia. Diane was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, at St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church, 1870 W. Oak St., with visitation from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Diane will be laid to rest with her husband following the mass at Zionsville Cemetery.
