Howard John Hull Jr., 60, died peacefully of heart disease on March 20, 2013.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years Lisa; daughter, Emily; son-in-law, Jason; brother, Gerald (Pam); nephews, Tim, Alec and Trevor; and nieces, Cindi, Ashton and Shea. He was thankful to be adopted into Jason’s and Lisa’s families, enjoying his time with them all.
Howard was given the gift of an extra 22 years of life thanks to a bone marrow donation by Trey Caldwell, a man he’d never met. His family is grateful for Trey’s gift and hopes everyone will consider being a donor.
Following his cremation, a memorial Mass will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 27, at St. Joseph Church in Mishawaka.
In lieu of memorials, Howard requested that those who knew him take their family to Howard’s favorite restaurant and enjoy one another’s company, remembering that life is shorter than you think.
Howard’s family knows many people like to donate, and the places he volunteered were Methodist/IU Hospital Chaplaincy, attention: Father Nyong; American Red Cross; and Ronald McDonald House and Peace Learning Center.
