— Williams named

to dean’s list

Calasia Williams, Zionsville, was among 1,973 students from Tennessee State Universaity who were named to the fall 2012 dean’s list. Williams majors in arts and sciences.

The honor list names all students who have achieved a GPA of 3.0 or higher in 12 or more semester hours taken for a letter graade during the spring semester.

Denne, Koenig

on dean’s list

Emily Denne and Kaitlin Koenig, both of Zionsville, were named to the University of Evansville dean’s list for academic achievements during the fall 2012 semester. Denne majors in literature and Koenig is an art major.

The students made the dean’s list by achieving at least a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.

Holcomb on president’s list

Cory Holcomb of Zionsville was recently named to the president’s list at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, New York.

Each fall and spring term, the college’s president’s list honors those students who have a term GPA between 3.5 and 4.0.

Holcomb is in the chemical dependency counseling academic program.

Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College offers more than 70 degree and certificate programs in four schools: One of 30 community colleges in the State University of New York system, it has an enrollment of more than 13,500 students, and it is known as a leader in distance learning initiatives and worker retraining. Hudson Valley has more than 70,000 alumni.

Resident earns dean’s list honors

Courtney Lauber of Zionsville has named its dean’s list of scholars for the 2012 fall term at North Central College in Naperville, Ill. To be eligible for the dean’s list, undergraduate students must maintain a GPA of 3.6 on a 4.0 scale for the term and be enrolled as full-time students.

Raker graduates from Findlay

Hailee Raker of Zionsville was among approximately 168 students who graduated The University of Findlay in December.

Raker earned her bachelor’s degree in environmental, safety and occupational health management/equestrian studies.

Schubert named to dean’s list

Eric James Schubert of Zionsville was among 494 full-time Indiana University Kokomo students to earn dean’s list honors for the fall 2012 semester. Dean’s list students earned a minimum 3.5 GPA on a scale of 4.0 while carrying at least 12 credit hours throughout the grading period.
