Next Generation briefs for Oct. 10

TPCA parent info night slated

Traders Point Christian Academy will host two parent information events, called Encounter TPCA, for grades kindergarten through 12th grade this month.

Encounter TPCA is designed to allow parents the chance to learn about specific grade levels by hearing directly from teachers and parents in those grades. Using a round table format, they will discuss topics such as content and how it is taught, academic rigor, field trips, national and international travel, projects and extra-curricular opportunities, co-curricular instruction, parent involvement and the impact of worldview study and Biblical integration.

Parents will learn what makes TPCA distinctive as a Christian school.

The elementary school (kindergarten through fifth grade) information night is at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16.

The middle school and high school (sixth grade to 12th grade) informational night is at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30.

All events are free and will be at the academy. Information is available at www.tpcs.org or by calling 769-2450.
