Four flu vaccination clinics have been scheduled by the Boone County Health Department, including one from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, in the Farm Bureau Community Building at the Boone County 4-H Fairgrounds, 1300 E. 100 S, Lebanon.
Other clinics will be 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10 in the Zionsville Town Hall community room, 1100 W. Oak St., Zionsville, and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on both Wednesday, Oct. 17 and Nov. 7, in the health department offices, in the basement of the Boone County Office Annex, 116 W. Washington St., Lebanon.
Flu vaccine for adults is $20; a high-dose vaccine, for people 65 and older, is $30. Pneumonia vaccines are $60.
Flu shots for children ages 6 months through 18 are $10; a nasal flu mist, for healthy children 2-18, is $10.
“Our children’s vaccines are provided by the Vaccines for Children’s governmental program, and are intended for children who have no insurance coverage for vaccinations, or for current Medicaid recipients,” said Cindy Murphy, RN, BCHD director.
