Show Choirs sell gift cards

Zionsville Show Choirs is selling $25 gift cards to Rail Trail Gardens Pumpkin Patch.

Rail Trail Gardens has a pumpkin patch with more than 9,000 pumpkin and gourd plants.

The gardens also features pumpkin painting, hayrides, straw pyramid and maze for children. Pumpkins, gourds and sunflowers will be available for sale.

Twenty percent of each gift card will be donated to Zionsville Show Choirs Rail Trail Gardens, 4102 South County Road 875 East.

Contact any member of the Show Choirs Royalaires or Choralaires to purchase a gift card.

• Fall I 2012 Storytime — now through Friday, Oct. 14, ages birth through 6. A library card is required during the first week of registration.

• You wouldn’t want to be a Tutankhamen — 4:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, grades second through fifth. This Egyptian focused ‘You wouldn’t want to be a’ book will provide all types of activities, crafts and information.

• I’m a Grumpy Grouch — 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15, ages 3 through 6. Celebrate National Grouchy Day with storytime.

• Tweens: Cover Art and Magazines — 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, grades fourth and fifth. Join editors from Jack and Jill Magazine for discussion and activities and learn about the process of writing and creating art for a children’s magazine.

• Halloween Hullaballoo — 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, ages 3 through 6. Stop by to have a spooky time.

• Fall Break Movie: Secret of the Wings — 10 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Friday, Oct. 19. Bring a cup with a lid and enjoy a movie, popcorn and lemonade.
