— Art IN Hand celebrates Christmas in the Village

Art IN Hand Gallery, 211 S. Main St., will celebrate Christmas in the Village Saturday, Dec. 1, and Sunday, Dec. 2.

Throughout the holiday season, register for a chance to win a stocking filled with artwork from some of the artists.

A tree will be on display with handmade ornaments created by artists and available for purchase.

On Friday, Dec. 7, Hopwood Wine Cellars will offer wine tastings.

Voyles receives award

from state bar association

Zionsville resident James H. Voyles Jr. received the GP Hall of Fame Award during the Indiana State Bar Association's annual meeting Thursday, Oct. 25.

Outgoing Indiana Bar Association President C. Erik Chickedantz presented the award, which is sponsored by the Indiana State Bar Association’s General Practice, Solo and Small Firm Section.

Voyles practices at the firm Voyles Zahn and Paul, where he works in the areas of general criminal defense, DUI/OWI, professional licensing and appellate.

Badger joins Benesch firm’s Indianapolis office

Steven M. Badger has joined Benesch litigation practice group.

He will work in the firm’s Indianapolis office.

Badger represents clients in commercial and complex business litigation matters, arbitrations and appeals. His litigation practice focuses on business disputes, frequently those involving competition in regulated and unregulated industries where he has background experience.

Badger’s media law experience includes representing media organizations, journalists and writers in litigation involving defamation, privacy and First Amendment rights of expression, access and newsgathering.

Badger also regularly handles cases involving insurance law and professional negligence, including defense of insurance brokers, lawyers and accountants.

Badger earned a bachelor of arts degree in economics, summa cum laude, from Wabash College and a juris doctorate, summa cum laude, from The Maurer School of Law at Indiana University.

R.L. Turner adds Hillan       as project superintendent

Steve Hillan has joined R.L. Turner as the company’s newest on-site project superintendent.

Hillan brings 40 years of experience to the R.L. Turner team.

“R.L. Turner is a gold standard in the construction industry,” Hillan said. “I’m thrilled to be joining the team and look forward to helping us continue our history of excellence.”

Wellness Center helps

beat holiday stress

Zionsville Holistic Chiropractic and Wellness Center, 1620 W. Oak St., Suite 100, will offer a special workshop.

The workshop, “Defeat Holiday Stress,” will be at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3.

Attendees will receive hands-on demonstrations of easy ways to release high levels of stress that often comes with the hustle and bustle of the holidays.

Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
